Preparing for a Newborn Session: Prior to your newborn session it is recommended to give the newborn a small bath as this has the tendency to give them a little alert/awake time and of course a small feeding for their little drive to the Private Newborn Studio. When dressing the newborn it is always best to bring him/her dress in a loose outfit such as a newborn sleeper that has snaps or zipper so that it can be opened and undressed without disturbing them.
Clothing and/or Newborn Props: We love the way our customers get excited and bring us their favorite newborn clothing or outfits , if you have a specific theme please make sure you have communicated with the Photography Studio to ensure we have a complimentary background for the session!
Length of Session: Newborn Photo Sessions can run between 1 – 2 hours in time based on diaper changes, feeding and background changes and of course “soothing” time for the newborn.
Parents/Client Waiting Area: We do have a small client waiting area where we supply all Parents with Books, Magazines and Photo’s to keep them busy while the newborn is busy being photographed. Parents are never out of sight with their newest little addition and are only steps away from the little one.
Newborn Private Studio : The climate in the Studio can get pretty warm at times since we have the temperature monitored for the baby safety and not adults. Keeping the proper temperature for the newborn is to ensure the baby is warm during the photo session where there is not much clothing on the baby as they are not capable of regulating their body temperatures at this time.
